Q&A

Can you tell us about your background and experience that led you to this role?

I have worked various assistance and administrative roles however every experience I have had has led to involvement in social media and some form of digital marketing. It has always been a passion of mine. The majority of my knowledge has been self-taught, so when the opportunity came to join BOYCO as a Digital Marketing Apprentice to learn the practice formally I was eager to apply, and overjoyed when I got the role!

What’s your favourite thing about the BOYCO’s values?

BOYCO’s commitment to sustainability planning and social value input is outstanding and inspiring. From using renewable resources to contributing back to the surrounding communities, they go beyond just manufacturing products.

What is the best piece of professional advice you’ve received, and how has it impacted your career?

“Keep looking for the next step out of your comfort zone, don’t be afraid to take the leap.” Always strive to push yourself towards set clear realistic goals, learning whilst you go, no matter how far away it seems. This is what led me to this apprenticeship and joining BOYCO.

What are your goals or aspirations for the future, either within the team or in your career in general?

In the future I want to contribute to the success of BOYCO with my learnt skills in Digital Marketing. I’m also aiming to become a mentor for an apprentice myself and would love to help develop the next generation of marketers just as BOYCO will do for me.

Are there any interesting hobbies or interests you have outside of work?

I enjoy going to yoga and the gym. I am often out in the countryside on hikes with my dog Lola.

Chloe will be supporting our team with all things digital and marketing across our business, but if you’d like to find out more about our products, or how we can help you, please get in touch.
